Seattle Sounders FC

SEATTLE SOUNDERS FC

Packed stadiums. Star players. Massive tifos. Drew Carey. This is soccer in North America. This is Seattle Sounders FC. Boasting over 250 straight sell outs, the Sounders are among the most successful clubs in American history. As a part of the digital media team, I wrote stories, captured moments, hosted video shorts, conducted interviews, created graphics, and built content plans. These are some of the most exciting years of my early career. Some of my visual work can be found below and my stories can be found HERE.

The World's Game

The featured piece of content in the Sounders event space The Ninety, The World's Game is a dynamic animated graphic showcasing the global brand of Sounders FC via the home countries of every player to date. Role: Creative Strategist.

MatchPass Re-Brand 2015

The Sounders FC loyalty program, MatchPass, is an immersive part of the season ticket member experience. Through this app, STMs can meet players, score autographed items, win on-field experiences, and purchase rewards with every dollar going back into their community through the Sounders FC Community Outreach program. This was a significant creative and operational re-brand from the previous program established several years earlier. Check out how it works in the video above! Role: Creative Strategist.

2016 Social Media Kit Graphics

These graphics were updated weekly with the relevant match up and blasted across all Sounders FC social channels 30 minutes prior to kick off to reveal to the fans which kit the Sounders would be wearing that day. Role: Creative Strategist.

2016 End of Season Campaign

With 200+ consecutive sell-outs, the fans are the lifeblood of Seattle Sounders FC. After a historic run from last place halfway through the season to MLS Cup Champions in 2016, the club thanked the fans with a series of graphics featuring every player in the starting 11.
